The Serenbe Stables hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Serenbe families and friends enjoyed
a lovely day hunting for eggs and prizes on the trails and playing games at the Stables.
Serenbe founder Steve Nygren “adopted” the runt of a pig litter born this spring. He nursed him
to health and named him Hamlet; now Hamlet is a superstar in the community (and even made
an appearance on The Weather Channel during their Earth Day coverage from Serenbe). Visitors
enjoy meeting him every Saturday at the Serenbe Farmers’ Market, 9 a.m. - noon on the Selborne Green.
Serenbe Farms manager Paige Witherington and her farmers are working with the Palmetto
Community Garden project to provide fantastic growing opportunities for Palmetto citizens.

During growing season (May – October), join us for the Serenbe Farmers’ & Arists’ Market, every
Saturday from 9 am – noon on the Selborne Green. At the market, you’ll find farm-fresh organic
produce from the Serenbe Farms and other local purveyors, great local vendors selling honey,
jams, artisan breads and baked goods, crafts, Serenbe merchandise, and more. Each week welcomes
a new group of vendors (typically 8 – 20 vendors), and a new special event occurs each week (from
gardening to chef demos). On the second Saturday of each month, Farmer Paige leads a tour of the
Serenbe Farms at 10 a.m.
Serenbe's 4th annual MayDay Celebration attracted nearly 7.000 people to the community for
the day. Guests enjoyed meeting local artists, shopping with the fabulous vendors, tasting
artisan meats, bread and cheeses, and experiencing fun things like gardening demos,
eco-educational games, "Rockn Tennis," a rock climbing wall, and more.
