Early Fall 2009 Development
In September, we introduced plans for 15 new cottages in the Grange hamlet. Nestled between the 6-acre Grange lake and the Serenbe Organic Farms, these small footprint cottages
respond to an emerging value shift — homeowners realizing “home” is more than a structure,
and a true community with neighbors as friends is important. The cottage plans, called
“The Nest,” were designed by Lew Oliver and are being built by Martin Dodson Homes.

They feature the top quality green building standards all Serenbe homes have become known
to have, including energy efficient materials and appliances, passive solar, and geothermal heating.

Browse through these photos of The Nest site, then come visit and talk the lot to choose your favorite
location. To view floorplans, visit the Serenbe Real Estate office or click here

The site of the Nest cottages is located in the Grange hamlet — enter Serenbe from
Atlanta-Newnan Road, then take a left on Gainey Lane at the Serenbe Stables. Take the
next left, pass by the entrance to the Serenbe Organic Farms, and you’ll see where we’ve
staked off the Nest lots.

This board at the site shows the layout of the cottages.
The individual lots are also staked.

Lot 5 is at the front, left corner of the site.

Grange homeowners enjoy natural and even edible
landscaping such as fruit trees and bushes.

Lots 1 – 5 in The Nest are located at the street, looking out to the
Serenbe Organic Farms.

There are paths and trails throughout Serenbe; this one leads to a
pretty green by the Grange lake.

Lot 3 is in the front & center of the site.

Lot 1 is street-front with views of the farm.
